Can someone help...Please...

Okay I have been trying to figure this out but have yet had no luck. How on earth do you get the pictures in the main part of your blog to be clickable??? You know when you upload a photo of something and then you can click on it to see it better. I have two pictures that I have uploaded that are clickable but I have no idea how I did it so if anyone out there in cyberspace can help please enlighten me. Thanks in advance :)

I'm still here...

just been so busy with everything christmas and I am sick again!! I have done some scrappy things lately but I can't show you yet cos they were for my secret santa :) Not much else happening at the moment though. I think it is about 14 more days till we go to the Gold Coast for a much needed holiday. Very excited just not sure how Jess will go on the plane. she does NOT like to sit still for very long. At the moment i am getting together a back pack full of stuff for her so hopefully it will keep her occupied.
Still got christmas shopping to do and with school finished it makes it even harder but late night shopping starts monday so will probably have to go after the girls are in bed. Well must be off have a layout I want to get finished and i need to get some sleep (and maybe some icecream!!)

Just another quick update...

Not much been happening here though I am finally feeling better although I still have a yucky cough!! Am hoping now that I feel better I can get to some scrapping. And I still have so much christmas shopping to do too. Anyway I have finally finished my count down calendar from a class over at D2U. The instructions can be found here and here is the finished product:-


Really happy with how it turned out and I am sure we will be using it for many years to come. Thanks so much for a wonderful class Kirsty :)

Can you help???

Last year I made some 6x6 pages for the SCKC memory books. Well it is that time of the year again and Julie needs help again to make about 6300 pages to go in these memory books for some very derserving kids!! All the details are here. So if you could pass on the word to all your scrapping friends that would be great and if you could make some pages for her that would be fantastic. The photo that will eventually be put on the layout will be approx 5" x 3.5". Pages need not be intricate, in fact simple is best, with a photo mat and a journal spot. and if you have any bits and pieces in your stash that you no longer want or need you can send them too so the kids buddies can decorate the front covers.There are lots of photos and ideas on her blog too. Have a read of her blog and I can guarantee you you will want to help too.

Thats it for now I am off to create some 6x6 pages.

Back again...

Thought I would share the other layouts I finished off this week:

This one is based on a sketch by Becky Higgins in creating keepsakes April o8 edition. I had been wanting to scrap these photos for ages and I thought this sketch was perfect.

And this one I just had to do about Jess and the way she eats her chocolate custard!! Not sure if you can read the journalling but it says " If your face doesn't look like this after eating chocolate custard then you're not doing it right!"

Busy Busy...

Another busy week!! Madison had a school camp on thursday and friday so went and helped out with that. I think i survived friday on about 4 hours sleep!!! And we are all sick. Madison has a cold, Ben and I have colds and Jess has a cold and conjuntivitis (no idea of the spelling). So not much happening here this weekend except giving out panadol and putting eye drops in. I did manage to get my layout finished for week 2 of the taste of india challenge over at D2U though and am very happy with the end product:-

I have also finished a couple of other layouts recently which i will upload soon.

We're back...

Have had a really busy weekend here. On friday night hubby and I drove down to Mt Gambier for his cousins wedding. Nearly didn't go both kiddies have been sick but my sister and her hubby and my parents were still happy to look after them so we went. Was so hard to leave them!! I think I have only ever been away from them once or twice before but what made it even harder was knowing they were both sick. Even though they were sick they both had a blast so that was good to know. We had a really nice time too. The wedding on saturday was beautiful!! Donna (hubbys cousin) looked stunning!! and the weather was beautiful. Apparently friday it rained all day so it was nice to have the sun shining as the wedding was outside. We drove home on sunday (the weather had again turned bad). It rained most of the way home!! Below is a photo of Donna and her hubby Mathew:-

Jess being trendy in my sunnies!! I just love her hair!! Everywhere we go we are always getting comments about the colour of her hair. It is the most stunning dark red. And oh so curly!!

And my big girl Madison. Man this photo makes her look so grown up!! And she is going on her first school camp on Thursday!!

I've been scrapping!!

Well it has been a while but I have finally finished a layout!! And here it is:

It is for a comp over at D2U called "a taste of India". This week we had to create a layout using pastel colours. You can find more details here. You have until sunday night (2nd nov) to upload your layout to the gallery.

How awesome is this cake!!!

This is the cake my sister and her husband made (yes they made it from scratch!!!) for my neice for her first birthday party today. It looked so cool. And here is a close up of the frog and hippo:

Great job guys it looked awesome!!!! The party was great and Charlotte (my neice) had a great time, not that she really knew what was going on, but I am sure she will next year!!

Have not done much scrapping lately but I did make a card for charlotte which I will share tomorrow if I get time :)

Oh I did get to play with my new camera at the party but only on auto. I have no idea how to use all the other settings yet but I am sure I will learn someday lol.

Been busy...

Well yesterday Madison had her first school sports day. It was a good day she had a great time but it was rather hot luckily it finished at 1pm. Here are some photos of her in action:

It was hot again today so I took the kiddies for a swim and then we enjoyed an ice cream. As you can see by the photos I think Jessica really enjoyed hers:-

I also got a new camera today!!! A Sony A350 DSLR!!! Very excited but as yet have not had a chance to play but hopefully tomorrow.

Well must go I have to make a birthday card for my neices party tomorrow.

Hello :)

Not much happening here. Kiddies have been for another swim (will post photos tomorrow when I get time). I have finally got back into walking. My friend and I walked last night and again tonight. Hopefully it will help me lose some weight.

Have not done much scrapping. Still working on my double page layout but hopefully tomorrow I will get it finished then post a photo. Also have to get the rest of my stuff together for a fantastic online class I am doing on Wednesday night here run be the gorgeous Kirsty :) Kirsty's work is simply stunning!!! So I am very excited to be doing a class run by her :) We are making a christmas count down calender thingy which the kids will absolutley love. If you have time pop on over and join in.

Thats it for now. Hopefully tomorrow I will get time to upload some photos and maybe show off my chocolate chip cookies (if they turn out okay!)

We survived!!

We survived the first week back at school! Mostly good with a few tantrums!! The kids even got to go for a swim today in the pool:-

Ben was a bit cold but the kids had a great time. (the water was 24c)

And here is a photo of my little Jessiebear! She NEVER looks at the camera for me so this one is a bonus even if it is a bad photo!!

A new creation...

Back to school...

What a nice day it was today. So glad school is back. Not that I didn't enjoy the holidays but I think Madison was getting bored and she was slowly driving me insane!!

Oh and we finally booked our holiday!!! YEH!!!!!!
11 nights on the Gold coast!!! Will be wonderful have not been on a holiday in such a long time.
